According to U.S. News and World Report, a private college in Ohio tops this year’s list of most expensive.
The report, which named the 10 priciest and the 10 cheapest private schools in the U.S., lists Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio as the country’s most expensive.
According to U.S. News and World Report data, students at Kenyon pay $66,490 between tuition and student fees for the 2022-2023 school year.

This means four years of college at Kenyon (assuming prices remain the same) would cost a whopping $265,960.
To put the cost of the Gambier-based liberal arts college into perspective, among the 911 ranked private colleges in the United States profiled in the report, the average price of tuition and fees for the 2022-2023 school year is $39,700.
