Dave Portnoy’s highest-rated Columbus pizzeria is opening a new location today
Sexton’s Pizza has enjoyed a busy month following a glowing rating from Dave Portnoy’s “One Bite Pizza Reviews,” and now the local concept is about to get even busier.
Sexton’s is opening a brand new location near the boundary between Harrison West and Victorian Village. And it’s doing so today.
According to Joey Sexton, who owns the concept alongside his brother, Jamey Sexton, the eatery passed its final inspection on Friday. The new pizzeria is located at 360 W. 3rd Ave.

Initially conceived as a “New York-style slice shop,” Sexton has had to pivot with the new location, following the surge in business the eatery has seen after receiving an 8.1 rating from Dave Portnoy’s “One Bite Pizza Reviews.” The eatery will sell only 16-inch pizzas, instead of slices and full pies.
Patrons will be able to purchase a 16-inch cheese pizza for $19 or a 16-inch pepperoni pizza for $22.50. Fresh basil is provided for free, and Mike’s Hot Honey, Garlic Oil, and Sexton’s popular homemade ranch is also available.
The small storefront, which is located inside the former home of Santarelli’s Barbershop, will be carryout-only, and cash will not be accepted.
The new pizzeria will be open 11:30 a.m.-7 p.m., or until sellout, every day.
