Dollar dogs and endless chalices highlight new Glizzies & Goblets event at Columbus bar
While there’s a chance you still don’t know what a glizzy is, $1 hot dogs and staggering drink deals is a language anyone can speak.
Fourth Street Taproom & Kitchen recently launched an event called Glizzies and Goblets (glizzy is an ironic term for hot dog, in case you really didn’t know) that will run through the rest of summer and even into football season.
The event offers $1 hot dogs and $5 well refills on goblet-style mugs. Patrons can purchase their own goblets for $15. Glizzies and Goblets is held every Monday, starting at 5 p.m.

The first installment of the series was held earlier this week, and the event kicked off with a bang, according to Carah Deardorff, social media marketing manager of Fourth Street Taproom, except for one thing: Their glizzies may have been been a bit too popular.
“People reacted even better than we could have hoped,” Deardorff said. “We sold out of hotdogs two hours into the event, but this coming Monday we definitely know what to expect. We even had people make their own bracelets for the event.”
