Popular Columbus restaurant launching new pizzeria concept in Dublin

While you may know Gallo’s Kitchen + Bar for its Italian pastas or Cajun po’ boys and etouffee  (they won Best Cajun in our 2023 ColumBEST poll, after all), the popular collection of eateries is going in even more on its popular pizzas with a new Dublin concept.

Gallo’s Food Group already operates a quick-service style pizza spot in Dublin, and the family-owned eatery is now planning another new concept around their popular pies. Gallo’s Pizza Cucina & Bar is coming to The Corners development in Dublin next year.

According to owner Nick Gallo, the new concept was inspired by the popularity of Gallo’s Pizzeria, a fast-casual, grab-and-go pizza spot that opened in North Market Bridge Park in 2021, although Gallo’s Pizza Cucina & Bar will bring plenty of new ideas into the mix..

“People love our pizza, and we want to combine what works well with our space at Bridge Park with the full-on dining experience we typically focus on. That’s what we’re going for at the new location,” Nick Gallo said.

As its name implies, the new 4,600 square-foot eatery will also feature an upscale bar, in addition to salads, wings and more. According to Nick Gallo, an opening is currently planned for the fall of 2024.
