Hilliard park construction begins

The shovels came out and broke ground for the new Hilliard park today. At the corner of Main and Center Streets, the park is set as part of the revitalization of the Old Hilliard area. Hilliard’s Station Park will have an event building and an amphitheater. According to NBC4, the project’s price tag is about $5.8 million but will also create new jobs throughout the area. Residents can expect the park to be open next summer.
