Chain known for crazy donut and corn dog flavors opening first Ohio location next month in Cbus
There’s donuts and corndogs, yes, but then there’s mochi donuts with flavors like cheddar cheese and dragon fruit, and corndogs dusted in Cheetos and ramen noodles. And Columbus is getting a new restaurant in town that thankfully serves the latter.
Mochi Ring, a Korean restaurant that’s growing quickly around the nation, is opening in March at 1144 Kenny Centre Mall, close to other the Asian delicacies at Tensuke Market.
This restaurant is most known for their beautiful, colorful mochi donuts, which consist of a glutinous Japanese rice, all covered in creative toppings, such as cheddar cheese, peanut butter, Nutella, matcha, blueberry, black sesame, and so much more.

Then, there’s the viral corndog aspect, either made from a sausage link, or just filled with mozzarella cheese (or a combo of both), then skewered and coated in a sweet flour batter, then rolled in a layer of toppings. You can choose from their original panko breadcrumbs, french fries, cornflakes, Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, and even ramen noodles.
Mochi Ring will also serve specialty bubble teas. They haven’t announced the official date for their March opening, but keep your eye out on their website for those details.
