Iconic Ohio pizza shop opens Italian Village location

To the delight of local pizza fans, DiCarlo’s Pizza has bolstered its presence in central Ohio.

The pizza concept, known for its square pies and topping pizzas with cheese after they leave the oven, has officially opened the doors of a new location in the Short North.

The newest DiCarlo’s is located at 15 E. 2nd Ave., in the former home of Icarus Sandwich Shop, which closed its doors in early 2023.

The Italian Village DiCarlo’s Pizza will open at 11 a.m. daily, and will stay open until 2:30 a.m. Thursday-Saturday.

Earlier this month, DiCarlo’s reopened its Uptown Westerville storefront. The historic Steubenville brand has more than 10 storefronts located in Ohio, West Virginia and Tennessee.
