(614) and Strange Columbus bring you the bizarre story of the shortest street in America

Many of us know that the world’s largest basket (the old Longaberger HQ) and world’s largest ping pong paddle (inside of Pins Mech Co.’s Downtown location) are right here in central Ohio.

But did you know that, less than an hour from Downtown Columbus, is the country’s shortest street?

Formerly the world’s shortest (a title which was usurped by a Scottish street in 2006), McKinley Street in Bellefontaine stands at just 15 feet long. 

(614) teamed up with Strange Cbus–a local creator highlighting the strange and mysterious side of Ohio’s capital city in hilarious fashion–to bring the story of our country’s shortest street to life, in just a few short minutes.
