This 40 year-old pizzeria is for sale

A pizzeria that has served the greater Columbus area for over four decades is now for sale.

According to Lithopolis-based realtor Megan Bell, Tommy Wayne’s Pizza—which is located approximately 45 minutes southeast of Downtown Columbus in Amanda, Ohio—is for sale.

The pizzeria, which has been open for over four decades, is located at 5805 Chillicothe Lancaster Rd. SW. She noted that the family-owned establishment is “looking to pass the torch to someone else.”

Bell said that the building, the land (a corner lot totalling more than 1 acre) and the business rights are listed together for $445,000. The current owners of Tommy Wayne’s are willing to help with the transition to a new owner if the concept is kept alive, but the sale is not contingent on operating the space as Tommy Wayne’s Pizza.
