Michigan-based gourmet sandwich shop opens second-ever location in central Ohio

Some food trends come & go – but there’s one delicacy that’s remained a staple in diets across the globe for centuries: the good ol’ fashioned sandwich.

Even a plain sandwich, with just bread, tomato, and basil, can be delicious. But you won’t find ordinary sandwiches at Hilliard’s newest sandwich shop, Pine Coast Cafe.

Pine Coast Cafe originated in Dearborn, MI, quickly becoming popular for their gourmet & halal sandwiches, burgers, signature salads, and sides like creamy tomato soup and crispy fries.

Abdul Nagi, the owner of an already established Hilliard coffee shop called Qamaria Yemeni Coffee, expanded the cafe to Hilliard, which was founded by his Michigan family member who’s a doctor and focused on nutritional options for fast-casual eating.

You can snag a smashburger, chipotle melt, Reuben, cheesesteak, and much more at 3229 Hilliard Rome Rd., from 11am-12am Friday-Sunday, and 11am-11pm Monday through Thursday.
