Popular ‘teriyaki’ Seattle-based restaurant chain opening 2 more central Ohio locations
Opening a new restaurant in the midst of the pandemic couldn’t have been easy, but a national chain that arrived to central Ohio in 2020 isn’t only thriving, but it’s expanding.
Teriyaki Madness first opened in Westerville in November of 2020. Their fast-casual Asian fare, like chicken teriyaki bowls, crab rangoon, noodles, plus much more, quickly became a go-to spot for easy take-out or an affordable dine-in meal.
Now, the restaurant is opening two more central Ohio locations. Their website (and city permits) show that Teriyaki Madness will soon be opening at 7105 N. High St. in Worthington, as well as 5792 N. Hamilton Rd. Suite F.

The chain boasts “real” food, made-to-order, “with fresh, high quality ingredients that makes you feel like a million bucks and satisfies your cravings,” says their manifesto. “We believe you should have a come-cooked meal, even if it’s not cooked in your home.” They first opened in Seattle back in 2003, and since then has opened more than 150 new locations across the state. It’s considered “the fastest-growing big restaurant chain in America” right now.
The restaurant group couldn’t be reached for comment about an opening date, but their website says both are coming soon.
