Owners of former German Village eatery open “high-end sports bar” Downtown
The owners of Bistrolino and Ferdinand Lounge–German Village spots which shuttered in late August–have officially opened their new concept to the public.
Capri, which is located at 39 E. Gay St., held its official grand opening yesterday.

Billed as a “high-end sports bar,” the concept aims to find the line between cocktail lounge and gameday hangout. The spot will boast 12 TVs playing a variety of sporting events, including some more unique contest not aired in run-of-the-mill sports bars.
Additionally, you won’t find Bud Light and boring burgers at Capri. The new Downtown spot will feature a variety of themed cocktails (like the Sunday Recliner, made with coffee bean infused Watershed bourbon, Amaretto, cinnamon maple syrup and orange and angostura bitters) and culinary small plates, such as Cacio and Pepe Popcorn, Zaatar Chicken Wings and Muffuletta Sliders.
