Impatient woman recklessly navigates work zone, “Has things to do”
A very impatient woman driving a red BMW convertible decided to disregard construction on I-70 on Wednesday and recklessly navigate through, nearly striking an officer.
A road crew was working on fixing potholes on the freeway when she was captured on video bobbing and weaving dangerously close to Officer Kerry Harris, all while honking her horn.

Officers tried waving her down but she kept on driving.
ABC6 Traffic reporter Mike Kilburn said when police eventually caught up with her and questioned her behavior, she replied, “No one needed to be in the middle of the road at this time in the morning” and “She had things to do.”
The woman was cited for reckless operation and failure to comply. Her Beemer was impounded and police gave her a ride off the freeway.
