12 out-of-towners arrested at downtown Columbus ICE protests

Update: Columbus police have arrested 12 people in connection to the ICE protests in downtown Columbus Monday.

CPD say none of the individuals arrested were from Columbus, but rather from California, Florida, Oregon, and one from Millfield, Ohio.

The charges for the arrests are for failure to comply and for disorderly conduct.

Protestors are crowding the streets of downtown Columbus this morning to rally against ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement).

In a 10TV live video, the crowd can be heard chanting, “The whole world is watching!” and “Abolish ICE!”

One sign from the crowd reads, “MELT ICE.”
