4-hour standoff ends in arrest
Arresting Willie Tatum III, 23, took the SWAT team surrounding his home and closing several roads. For four hours, Tatum and the Columbus police were in a standoff in east Columbus that had escalated from a breaking and entering situation. Tatum was charged with aggravated menacing and domestic violence after the standoff eventually ended peacefully.
