What happens when two of our favorite desserts combine?

That’s right, Columbus. Get ready for the Macaroughnut: Tupelo’s black currant glazed doughnut adorned with Mjomii’s black currant macaron. The creative confection is available now for pre-order via tupelodoughnuts.com.

Tupelo Owner Kimberly Payne said she and MJOMII both have booths every year at the farmers market at Bridge Park in Dublin. This past fall, she told them they should collaborate sometime.

“I absolutely love their macarons,” she said. “I am a macaron fan, and it honestly is the best one you can find in the city.”

Payne said she will have the macaroughnuts available for the entire month of February.

We couldn’t have asked for a better Valentine’s Day present from the universe if we tried, right?
