Sassafras Bakery, 657 High St., will be closing after eight years in Worthington.
In an announcement via social media, the owner shared news of the closure.
“I have decided to change gears,” the post reads in part. “Saturday, Aug. 14 was the last day of regular business at our brick and mortar location in Worthington. Your support (especially over these exceptionally challenging last 18 months) has meant absolutely everything. Our sales are on track to celebrate our best year ever and we have you to thank for that. Thank you. Thank you.”
