Vacant building near campus could get new life

For years, the building on High Street near 9th Avenue has been vacant, sandwiched between Taco Bell and bars further south. Buckeye Real Estate is hoping to change that. The company is proposing to revitalize the building with new apartments, town homes and parking but the exteriors would be kept. While the plan is still just beginning, Buckeye Real Estate has proposed the plan to the University Area Review Board.
