SoHud pop-up returns with school bus-turned clothing store

After last year’s inaugural run, community pop-up the SoHud Collective is returning next month.

The pop-up kicks off from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 1 and 2 at 368 Hudson St. It will be open every weekend following that through Halloween, said event organizer Taylor Grindle.

“Sohud Collective is more than a resale store,” Grindle said. “It’s a place where vendors with all types of goods can come and show off their curations to the neighborhood. A place where the community can come together, love thy neighbor, and walk away with a memento in honor of the occasion.”

This season, SoHud is partnering with Threadbare Vintage. Over 15 vendors will feature clothes, home goods, crystals, and plants. There’s also a completely remodeled 1980s school bus that’s enjoying a second life as a clothing store.
