Where to celebrate Pride this weekend
Even though Stonewall Columbus presented a virtual Pride this year, there have still been plenty of ways to celebrate. And what better way to ring in the end of the month than with some final events?
Check out these handful of community celebrations happening this weekend:
BROUGHT TO YOU BY
Gahanna Pride March: Start your weekend early with a pride March in Gahanna. The march kicks off at 7 tonight, June 24 at Friendship Park, 150 Oklahoma Ave. From there, the march proceeds down Granville Street and ends at the Herb Garden/City Hall parking lot.
Pearl Market Pride! Week: Pearl Market in downtown Columbus tomorrow, June 25 will feature live music, mural painting, and treats as part of its Pride celebration.
Franklinton Pride 2021: Featuring several music and performance stages, this celebration kicks off at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 26 at 400 West Rich and runs through 11 p.m. that day. In addition to performances, the event includes art, comedy vendors, food trucks, a beer garden, and even a “Rocky Horror Picture Show” sing along.
Granville Pride Parade: Granville’s celebration kicks off at 5 p.m. at the Eisner Center parking lot at 240 W. Broadway, and proceeds past the library, ending on Denison’s College Green with speakers, music, and family fun.
