This historic Ohio attraction was named the third best holiday lights display in the country by a USA Today poll

Historic Clifton Mill is located less than an hour from downtown Columbus—a suitable distance for an afternoon day-trip—but even if it was significantly further away, its storied holiday lights display would still be worth making the trek for.

And we’re not the only ones who think so.

For the fourth consecutive year, Clifton Mill’s Legendary Lights was named one of the best holiday light displays in the entire country by USA Today.

This year, its lights were voted the third-best in USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Travel Awards, in the Best Public Holiday Lights Display category. The only representative from the entire Midwest, the historic Mill was bested by a pair of Florida attractions: Holiday in Paradise, located in West Palm Beach, and Lights on Jeater Bend, in Celebration.

And even though Christmas and Hanukkah have come and gone, there’s still time to check out the lights at Clifton Mills, as the attraction runs through Dec. 30. The Legendary Lights are open from 6-9 p.m. every day.
