Dog-friendly brewery opening downtown next week

Jack McLaughlin

Since there’s nowhere else in Columbus you can hang out with your dog while drinking beers by the name of Jesus was a Ninja and Cocoberry Jesus, Tim McFeely decided to make one. And after much anticipation, his new brewery is slated to open its doors on Dec. 22.

Holy Trinity Brewing Co.–a name that nods to, but still has some fun with, McFeely’s Christian faith–is located at 155 N. 5th St. downtown.

“It’s part of the fun, seeing all these great names, and craft beer should be fun,” McFeely said of his brewery name and his variety of Biblically-inspired beer titles.

According to McFeely, the new brewery is waiting on a single-piece inspection that will take place on Dec. 21, one he believes will likely pass.

The 4,000 square foot brewery will feature 18 taps of Divine Trinity beer as well as a house hard seltzer. The new space is also dog friendly.
