Hashi, the contemporary-chic spot for Japanese sushi and Korean fare located in Granville, first opened in early October. Since then, the eatery has seen an up and down road marked by multiple closures, the latest of which will see Hashi close for an indefinite amount of time.

Hashi is located at 128 E. Broadway.

“Due to unforeseen events Hashi Granville has made the decision to closure until further notice,” a statement posted to the restaurant’s Instagram on Dec. 3 reads.

This closure comes two days after Hashi reopened following a two week long shutdown due to illness-related staffing issues. Hashi did not specify whether or not this illness was related to COVID-19.

While Hashi remains closed, its sister bar and lounge, Hashi Up—located on the second floor of the same building—will remain open.
