Columbus, you’re about to get a super sweet gift for St. Patrick’s Day.
S’wich Social is slated to open March 17 at 869 N. 4th St.
Sean Whited, who owns the shop along with business partner Addison Brown, said the opening, originally planned for this past fall, had largely been delayed by the pandemic.
“We didn’t want to put customers at risk,” he said.

The store will offer carryout orders from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
S’wich Social’s core product is the ice cream sandwich, made to order using cookies and toppings. The cookies are house-made, while the ice cream is sourced from Madison, Wisconsin outfit Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream.
“Their ice cream is fabulous,” Whited said.
The shop also sells cookies individually and by the dozen; scoops, pints, and quarts of ice cream; and sundaes featuring a scoop of ice cream topped with a cookie.
“Over time that will probably develop,” Whited said.
