January Restaurant Week: What you need to know

614now Staff

Have you heard the wonderful news? The next Restaurant Week is just a few weeks away—so close we can almost taste it!

Unfamiliar with Restaurant Week and all its delicious glory? Not to worry, here’s all the info you need to get hip to Columbus’ biggest food event.

So…what is it?

Restaurant Week is a week-long dining extravaganza that happens just twice a year. Over 100 Central Ohio restaurants come together to offer prix fixe menus for a fraction of regular cost, ranging from $15-$40 for three tasty courses.

Restaurant Week is hosted by 614 with the help and support of several Community Partners. Each event also benefits a local charity; we have a big giveaway in which entries equate to donations. (More details on that to come.)

How do I get the Restaurant Week deals?

All you gotta do is ask for the Restaurant Week menu when you order at a participating restaurant. You’ll have a choice between three or more dishes for each course so you can truly customize your meal. Many restaurants also offer beverage specials you can add on!

What are the details on January Restaurant Week?

The dates are set: January 25-30, 2021. Revolution Mortgage has returned as our presenting partner (couldn’t do it without ’em!) and our charity partner is Service!

This Restaurant Week is a reminder that food truly keeps us connected. It’s all about supporting local and showing our appreciation for the wonderful, hardworking people behind our favorite restaurants.

Special things to keep in mind as you prepare to dine:

  1. Tips aren’t included in the menu prices. Remember that times are challenging right now for service industry members.
  2. Many restaurants will offer their menus for carryout, but some do not. Once menus are up at EAT614.com, you’ll be able to filter by availability.
  3. We’ve partnered with OpenTable to make it easy for you to make reservations during Restaurant Week. If a restaurant is accepting reservations via OpenTable, there will be a handy link on their menu page (once they are live).

Okay, sounds great. Which restaurants are participating this time around?

Glad you asked. You can find the complete list on EAT614.com. We know you’re chomping at the bit to scroll through the menus, but they aren’t ready just yet. Stay tuned to our daily emails and our social media accounts to get the latest updates as Restaurant Week approaches!

You can also save the date below to see updates right away and be part of the conversation.
