Local restaurant’s igloos earn national recognition

It may still be cold outside, but VASO’s igloos are hot right now.

The Dublin restaurant recently got major press for their cold-weather domes courtesy of Travel + Leisure. The publication featured VASO in a roundup of restaurants and hotels across the country with igloos and heated domes.

“We invite everyone to enjoy our VASO views alongside our delicious tapas and cocktails while socially distanced in a temperature-controlled private igloo,” said VASO General Manager Rebecca Monday. “Our cozy blankets and ambient lighting help set the mood for any occasion, while our full menus are offered with a server to take care of anything our guests may need.”

Monday said VASO also uses electrostatic disinfection technology in between each use to ensure that every surface is fully sanitized before every guest experience.

All igloos are able to accommodate up to eight people and are required to be on one check with an automatic 20% gratuity.
