Longstanding mom-and-pop pizzeria will close for good this week
If you frequent the Pataskala area, it’s more than likely you’ve sampled Hornet’s Nest Pizza yourself. And if you’re there before the end of the week, you’ll have one last chance to grab a pie before the pizzeria closes its doors.
Hornet’s Nest posted a statement on their website notifying customers that, after serving pizza to the area for over a decade, the eatery will close for good on Dec. 18.
The restaurant is located at 6414 Summit Rd. SW in Pataskala.

“12.18.21 will be the last time we fire up the oven, the last time we will serve this wonderful community,” the statement reads. “We thank all of you, our loyal customers, our friends. Your support has meant so much to us.”
While Hornets Nest offered limited dine-in space, the small, carryout heavy spot featured a welcoming, old-school pizzeria atmosphere.
