New location from Iconic Columbus pizzeria set to open soon
Cafe Napolitano has served owner Palmo Aracri’s unique version of New York style pizza to downtown diners for nearly 30 years from its previous location at 40 N. High St.
And while Aracri is moving on from the location he spent decades at, he’s launching a new pizza concept in a brand new location, and it could open before the end of the month.
Aracri said earlier this month that his goal is to open the spot as soon as the third week in December.

According to the longtime Columbus pizzeria owner, the final step in the process of opening Aracri on Gay—the name of his new pizza restaurant which will be located at 51 E. Gay St.—is approval from the Franklin County Public Health Department.
The longtime Columbus pizzeria owner submitted the application this morning.
The new spot will feature dishes like gnocchi rosa, fresh alfredo, fried calzones, his signature New York-style pizza, as well as a full bar.
Aracri Pizzeria in the University District is also run by Palmo Aracri and his family.
