The Cherry Valley Hotel has something big on tap at the end of the month.

According to a release from the hotel and Homestead Beer Co, the brewery is going to open a new food and drink concept Aug. 27 at the hotel, 2299 Cherry Valley Rd SE.

“It’s an incredible chance to offer more to our customers,” Homestead Beer Co. CEO Joe Wilson said in a prepared statement. “We love Licking County and can’t wait to broaden the horizon right in our backyard.”

The new barrel room will serve as a space for trivia nights, beer tastings, open mic and karaoke nights, and private events.

The news comes fresh off a reimagined Cherry Valley Hotel. The space is now focusing on large events and conventions during the day and high-end hotel experiences at night.

Homestead Public House at the hotel will stand as a unique entity. While Homestead’s original Heath taproom will continue to operate, the Public House at the hotel will serve craft cocktails, wine, cider, seltzers, and beer and cocktail slushies.
