Popular fried chicken sandwich spot closing until next year

If you want to enjoy one of the many 90’s-themed fried chicken sandwiches from Fried Chicka Bang, this week will be your last chance to do so until next year.

The eatery announced yesterday that, following service on Nov. 21, it will remain closed until 2022.

“We have been so blessed this entire year and now want our employees to spend time with family over the holiday season,” Fried Chicka Bang said in a statement.

The restaurant, which is a pop-up, operates out of the Polaris-area Sunny Street Cafe, located at 8461 Sancus Blvd. Fried Chicka did expand into the Arena District with an additional pop-up late last year, but that location is temporarily closed.

Their daily hours until Nov. 21 are from 4 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
