SLAB Food Truck opening second kitchen inside Homestead Beer Co. location
SLAB Food Truck recently opened its first-ever brick and mortar space inside Reynoldsberg’s Eastside Brewing Co., but that didn’t stop the eatery known for its hearty burgers and ribs from securing another new location.
The eatery will be opening a second brick and mortar space inside of the Homestead Beer Company Cherry Valley Public House, which opened inside of Newark’s Cherry Valley Hotel this summer.
The new SLAB location will officially open for business on Nov. 9. It will be open Monday through Saturday, from 5-9 p.m., and Sunday from 1-7 p.m.

According to co-owner Bryan Nelson, the eatery will be taking over the kitchen space inside of Homestead’s new Cherry Valley location. This means SLAB’s second physical storefront will be much like its first: In a shared kitchen within a larger brewery and taproom.
