Thanksgiving is only two weeks away, and many of you are just starting to plan your festivities. It’s been a long year, and I know that most of us want to focus on spending quality time with our loved ones and less time stuffing a bird. Here are three gourmet options I am thankful for this holiday season.
•Milo’s Catering has been a Columbus institution for over twenty years and is my go-to for a traditional Thanksgiving meal. Milo’s oven-ready turkey is moist and perfectly complemented by herbs, garlic, and butter, a dynamic trio that doesn’t overwhelm the flavor of the meat. The star of Milo’s kit, Green Bean Casserole, is generously layered with creamy house-made mushroom soup that elevates this must-have side dish. Don’t forget to add the charcuterie tray (so your guests have something to munch on) and the delectable Caramel Apple Cheesecake created by Milo’s in-house pastry chef. Not only is the food incredible, but Milo’s Complete Meal packages allow you to feel like a home chef without the labor-intensive work (and they offer alcohol!)
