This downtown spot for gourmet hot dogs is now open
The dog days of summer are upon us. The hot dog days, that is.
This is because on Aug, 29, Tasty Dawg officially opened for business at 107 S. High St.
The 44-seat downtown space is the restaurant’s very first brick and mortar storefront. They had previously operated a pickup and delivery-only virtual kitchen out of Zoup! in the Arena District.

Customers can dine in at the High St. location, as well as opt for pickup or delivery by ordering online.
“We just opened Tasty Dawg as a virtual kitchen last December, and here we are with a storefront in less than a year,” said co-owner Tom Dailey.
The spot serves up a variety of wacky and wonderful dogs, all of which are served on their signature Bavarian pretzel rolls. Menu items include their South of the Border Dog, Philly cheesesteak Dog, and Island BBQ Dog, complete with smoked bacon, pineapple, crispy fried onions, and barbecue sauce. Make sure to save room for a side of tots as well.
