Understory, sister brewery to Wolf’s Ridge, opening to the public for the first time next month

Mark your calendars for Dec. 4-5, Columbus. These are the days that Understory, the anticipated new sister brewery and restaurant to Wolf’s Ridge, is slated to hold its first-ever public event.

Located at 2571 Neil Ave., inside the former Open Air building, Understory had previously only hosted private events.

While the new concept’s restaurant and taproom space are still in the works, Understory’s top-floor event space will host Holiday Wonderland, an expansive event featuring more than 50 vendors, a drag Santa, live music, bar service, and more.

The event is hosted by the popular vintage retailers SoHud Collective, and includes vendors such as City Bones, Penn & Beech Candle Co., Queerencia, and many more.

Holiday Wonderland will take place from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Both Dec. 4 and 5.

The full Understory kitchen and lounge is slated to open soon, although no definitive date has been given.
