Vendors for new Grandview market to be announced soon

Although The Collective Market isn’t slated to open until February or March of 2023, news about the vendors slated for the space could come much sooner.

The market, to be located at 710 Grandview Crossing Way, is just one part of Thrive Companies‘ Grandview Crossing Development (GVX), a 56-acre development featuring a 3.5-acre community park, a hotel, and residential, retail, and office space.

Thrive Companies Principal and CFO Joel Lilly said the 22,000 square-foot market will have between 10 and 12 stalls, the majority of which will be for prepared foods. Construction will begin next month.

“We have had some informal discussions with prospects but are just now completing our marketing package now that the building design is finalized,” Lilly said. “We anticipate having more formal discussions with prospects starting in the next couple of weeks and months and plan to start announcing future tenants in the coming months.”

Since 1,300 residents and 2,000 workers will eventually live and work in the GVX development, Lilly said it was important to have the market to provide a spot for people to visit after work in the evenings and on weekends.

During some evenings and weekends the market will be home to special events, Lilly said. Patrons will be able to grab food and drinks and then relax at outdoor patios, a dog park, multipurpose courts, and large grassy areas with outdoor seating.

“Our goal is to have a feel like North Market and Bridge Park with great food options, beverages, and retail shops, but add the experience/connection to the 3.5-acre community park,” he said.
