Multi-use coffee shop coming to Eastland Mall

There’s going to be more than just coffee at Jojo’s Java Lounge.

Slated for a grand opening May 1, the outfit at 2709 Eastland Mall will serve as part coffee shop, part event venue, and part small business lounge.

During the day, the space will function as a cafe, offering up coffee, tea, and smoothies as well as pastries and other baked goods.

The space also features over 5,000 square feet of event space with a buffet/bar counter and even a living grass wall (can we say selfie potential).

And for those of you who want to do a little bit of work while you enjoy that coffee and pastry, there’s several standing desks to choose from, along with two project tables and several private desks to use free of charge.

The space will function as a lounge and cafe from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. From 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on those days, JoJo’s will offer private classes. From 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Fridays, the cafe will host a variety of happy hour events. Saturdays and Sundays the space will close for private events.
