One of the premiere culinary attractions in Newark’s Cherry Valley Hotel has officially reopened for business.

The Craftsman Kitchen & Terrace, which originally opened in 2019 and closed during Ohio’s initial outbreak of COVID-19 in March of 2020, has opened its doors once again.

The Craftsman held a soft opening last month, and is now open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5-9 p.m. The restaurant is inside the Cherry Valley Hotel, which is located at 2299 Cherry Valley Rd SE in Newark.

“The reviews were excellent during the first launch pre-covid. We so look forward to welcoming back people to this community destination,” said Cherry Valley Hotel General Manager Tim Norman in a press release.

The chic eatery, which also boasts expansive outdoor seating options, will feature a new menu with Ohio-raised beef burgers, brick-oven pizza, fresh pasta, ribeye steaks and more.
