After years of anticipation, Short North rooftop bar and restaurant officially opens

Mandrake Rooftop has finally arrived.

The concept–which was created by TownHall owner Bobby George’s hospitality group Ethos–is located on the 10th floor of the Moxy Columbus Short North hotel, located at 808 N. High St.

Alongside TownHall–which is located at 792 N. High St.– the new bar has been on the radar of Columbus diners for several years. TownHall opened in early 2021, with Mandrake Rooftop making its official debut over the weekend.

“It’s going to be a high-energy restaurant and ultra-lounge,” George told 614Now in an interview last year.

Mandrake Rooftop, which will serve a variety of tapas, also features a beverage program that promises to “highlight the most diverse wine list in the city, a seasonal cocktail list and fun shared cocktails,” according to the new concept’s website.

Reservations for Mandrake Rooftop can be made here. The new bar and eatery is open 4 p.m. until midnight Wednesday and Sunday, and 4 p.m. until 2:30 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. It is closed Monday and Tuesday.
