Columbus sweet shop featured on Yelp list of outrageous US Milkshakes closing doors until March

Libby Lou’s Fun Factory, the sweet shop that according to a recent Yelp article offers one of the country’s 11 most outrageous milkshakes, will be closing its doors to the public for the winter.

The Clintonville storefront, which is located at 3039 Indianola Ave., will close its doors after Dec. 18.

According to an Instagram post, Libby Lou’s will reopen sometime in mid-March.

“Unfortunately there just is not enough traffic in these late fall and winter months for me to justify even being open. However, come spring we have lots of changes coming to the menu and of course our annual clean up and redesign of the shop,” the post reads. 

While Libby Lou’s will be closed to public foot traffic during this time, the Clintvonvile spot billed as “Columbus’ original extreme shake venue” will remain open for a variety of services, including birthday parties and other private events. Additionally, Libby Lou’s will continue to take cotton candy orders and catering orders.
