Following temporary closure, beloved Central Ohio reopens

And just like that, Ghostwriter Public House is back.

The beloved Johnstown-based eatery surprised many by announcing a several-week hiatus on June 16 to rest and reset.

But now, the culinary destination is open once again. Ghostwriter began limited dinner service this weekend, and plans to resume service again, including its breakfast and lunch menus, on July 15.

“It feels great to be back. We wouldn’t have continued success if we weren’t supported by all of our thoughtful guests and our hardworking and fiery loyal team,” a statement posted to Ghostwriter’s social media pages reads.

Ghostwriter Public House is located at 49-½ S. Main St. in Johnstown.

The restaurant, which opened initially in November of 2019, quickly became a sought-after eatery for Central Ohio diners.
