Former Lindey’s Executive Chef returns as Culinary Director after stint with Ghostwriter Public House

If you’re a fan of the iconic German Village steakhouse Lindey’s Restaurant & Bar–located at 169 E. Beck St.– we’ve got good news for you: Brett Fife is back.

Fife, who spent nine years as Lindey’s Executive Chef, later moved to Johnstown’s Ghostwriter Public House for two and a half years.

Now, he’s returned to German Village, and with a slightly different role.

Fife comes back to Lindey’s as the iconic eatery’s Culinary Director, where he aims to blend the restaurant’s traditions with contemporary dining trends.

Hailing from a small farming town in Indiana, Fife is a graduate of the culinary program at Columbus State Community College. He also holds an associate’s degree in hospitality management.
