Big Daddy Pizza is now officially open for business.

Just one month after the popular spot Pizaroni’s Pizza chose to not resign its lease at 12998 National Rd. in Etna, Big Daddy Pizza has moved in and opened its doors.

The new concept, which is owned by former Pizzaroni’s landlord Chuda Gautam, held its grand opening on April 15.

“Business is already going well,” Gautam said. “We already had former customers from Pizzaroni’s, which helps a lot.”

According to Gautam, Big Daddy purchased much of Pizzaroni’s equipment, leaving the new owners with an almost totally turnkey space.

“There wasn’t anything we really had to change. Just the name,” Guatam said.

The new concept offers thin, Columbus-style pies in addition to calzones, subs and more.
