From cup noodles to English muffins, here are this year’s most unique pumpkin spice offerings

Jack McLaughlin

With August in the rearview mirror, it’s pumpkin spice season again, for better or for worse.

While a handful of annual products, like the Pumpkin Spice Latte, are eagerly awaited every year, we’re not as sure about others. That’s not to say they won’t pleasantly surprise us, and these outliers are at least the ones we’re most interested in. We’ve compiled a list of some of the most unique offerings from this year’s slate of pumpkin spice products, and here’s what we found.

Goldfish + Dunkin’, Pumpkin Spice Grahams

While Goldfish are typically a classic in the snack realm, we’re not entirely sure how the addition of pumpkin spice flavoring will change that. But hey, you never know until you try, right?

Nissin Cup Noodle, Pumpkin Spice Cup Noodles

Nissin introduced this one by saying “There’s a fine line between genius and insanity…Care to cross it with us,” and this feels like an accurate introduction. These have been brought back for another year though, so who knows?

Oreos, Pumpkin Spice Oreos

These do have a fair amount of vocal support behind them, but we might not be convinced enough to stray from the classic Oreo.

Thomas’, Pumpkin Spice English Muffin

We’re on the fence about this one. Pumpkin spice donuts have their place, and pumpkin spice bagels are in the gray zone. So where does this leave pumpkin spice english muffins? Only time will tell.

Planters, Pumpkin Spice Almonds

While this one doesn’t sound too strange inherently, it’s difficult to imagine what exactly a pumpkin spice almond tastes like. If you’ve tried them, be sure to let us know.
