New winery and cidery opening in historic barn at 60-acre cabin retreat and wedding venue next spring

If you need an escape, but would prefer to avoid airports, travel agents and painful road trips in the back of a hot sedan, we have just the place for you.

Retreat 21 Farm & Vineyard, a unique new Marysville destination, serves as an expansive venue for weddings or events, or an escape for a night or two to private, contemporary-minimal cabins.

While Retreat 21 began taking its first event clients and made its cabins available for rent last month, there’s much more to come as well.

According to Carl Seiley, who created Retreat 21 alongside partner Liz Seiley, the sprawling Marysville spot plans to open an on-site winery and cidery, with a public tasting room being that will be located inside a historical former barn on the property. The winery and cidery will open in the spring of 2023.

Situated on 64 acres of woods and water, retreat 21 will offer visitors a chance to explore the natural world that’s only a short drive away from Columbus. The destination will also offer yoga, spa sessions and an 18-hole golf course.
