Popular Somali eatery set to open new Easton location soon

Afra Grill’s highly anticipated second location has been underway for some time now, but now we have a bit more clarity on when diners will be able to enjoy the East African eatery.

According to a press release from Easton Town Center, Afra Grill is on track to open this spring, although no exact date has been announced yet.

Afra Grill’s new Easton restaurant will be located at 3922 Townsfair Way.

The eatery also has a North Side storefront, located at 1635 Morse Rd.

The fast-casual Somali restaurant, which is owned by chef Abcos Ahmed, features a popular build-your-own approach to its cuisine, where diners can select their own proteins, bases, toppings and sides to create a fully-customized Afra Grill experience.

Ahmed and Afra Grill also make a point to give back to the Columbus community, offering a variety of free outreach and educational services.
