Rooh creating new collaborative restaurant concept

Jack McLaughlin

What’s better than one of the best restaurants in Columbus?

How about two of them?

Rooh, the popular modern Indian eatery located at 685 N. High St., will be launching a brand-new collaborative kitchen next month, referred to as First Sunday Feast.

On the first Sunday of every month, Rooh will partner with “some of the best restaurants around the city” to create exciting, and totally unique, tasting menus that will only be available for one day.

First Sunday Feast will officially begin on March 6, and Rooh will pair with High Bank Distillery Co. in its first installment to create a four-course menu complete with a variety of custom cocktails. Tickets, which cost $70 per person, are available now and can be found here. The event will take place from 5-9 p.m.

The menu for each First Sunday, along with other relevant details for each event, will be available on Rooh’s website.

“We are so ecstatic to be working with [High Bank] for our inaugural First Sunday Feast,” Rooh said in a statement posted to its Instagram account. “It will be a four course feast with an optional cocktail pairing, highlighting their amazing spirits.”
