Speciality Columbus store featuring spice blends, breadings, cake mixes opening second location

Even though Phyllis Ann’s Family Recipe opened its first brick and mortar location inside of Eastland Mall late last summer, the unique local business is already planning to expand yet again.

This means the second Phyllis Ann’s Family Recipe storefront is coming to Polaris Fashion Place.

The new spot will be located at 1500 Polaris Pkwy. No official opening date has been announced, but it’s slated to open sometime in February.

Named after the grandmother of co-owner Tanikia Carter-Camara (who operates the business alongside her siblings), Phyllis Ann’s focuses on spices, breadings, cake mixes and rice blends, all with a distinctly Southern flair.

The company originally started as an online store before launching its Eastland brick and mortar last year. Patrons can still opt to make purchases online here if they chose as well.

“Thank you to all of our great customers for your continued support,” Phyllis Ann’s Family Recipe said in a post to its Instagram account. “We truly appreciate the love, positive vibes, and encouragement shown. We could not have done this without you.”
