April 2 is the final day to grab dinner at Speck Italian Eatery’s Delaware restaurant.

The eatery, currently located at 15 E. Winter St. in Delaware, will soon move to its new home in The Nicholas, a Columbus apartment building located at 12 W. Gay St. in the heart of Downtown.

“We appreciate the refined palates of our dedicated Delaware guests and their response to our innovative modern Italian recipes,” Speck said in a statement posted to its Instagram account. “The response has been overwhelmingly positive. With that being said, it’s time to share the love, and for our well received establishment to grow.”

Speck, a sister restaurant to Veritas and 1808 Bistro, has not yet announced when it will take over the 3,000 square foot space inside The Nicholas, although late last year the eatery told 614NOW it would like to open at its new space in early April.

Speck’s statement also noted that its original Delaware location will be taken over by “another solid concept,” although this was not named.
