Wendy’s new Frosty Sundaes are available in only a few Columbus-area stores, here’s where to find them

If you were excited about the release of Wendy’s Frosty-ccino—a cold, Frosty-based coffee drink—when it was released in 2020, then just wait until you hear about a new Wendy’s ice cream treat that’s available at only a handful of Columbus-area locations.

That new item is the Frosty Sundae.

The dessert—a Frosty decked out in a variety of indulgent toppings and sauces—was quietly released in several Columbus stores recently.

The new Frosty creations are offered in three varieties: Chocolate Lovers, with chocolate Frosty, Oreo cookie pieces and Ghirardelli chocolate sauce, Marshmallow Charms, with vanilla Frosty, Ghirardelli caramel sauce and Lucky Charms marshmallows, and the Classic Strawberry, with vanilla Frosty, sprinkles and strawberry sauce. The sundaes also contain whipped cream. Each sundae costs $2.49.

In 2019 and 2020, Wendy’s released a similar Frosty Sundae that featured chocolate chip cookie pieces and chocolate sauce that was offered for several limited runs.

At the time of publication, the new Frosty Sundaes were available at only several Columbus-area Wendy’s locations, including 1100 Dublin Rd. (Columbus), 3040 Northwest Blvd. (Upper Arlington) and 6195 Glick Rd. (Shawnee Hills), in addition to the Wendy’s Hamburger Stand in Heath, Ohio.

According to a Wendy’s representative, Frosty Sundaes will only be available for a limited time in the Columbus area, but they will remain as a permanent menu item as the Heath Hamburger Stand.
