July 28 & 29 – Columbus Commons

Join The Best Damn Band In The Land alongside the Columbus Symphony for this week’s Picnic with the Pops. Both performances take place at 8 PM — find more info here. 

July 28 & 29 – Downtown Canal Winchester

Nothing brings people together like good food. Canal Winchester’s Blues & Ribfest is back and better than ever. In the heart of downtown Canal, there will be live music, A-1 ribs (and a host of non-rib items, and even a beer garden. Admission is free, but you can find location information here. 

July 28-29 – Funny Bone 

Shawn Wayans from the “Scary Movie” film franchise and the 2004 classic “White Chicks” will perform at the Funny Bone Comedy Club and Restaurant at Easton Town Center this weekend. Get on the waitlist for this show here. 

July 28 – 30 – Northland Performing Arts Center

Pippin (the musical) is the story of a young prince on a quest to find meaning in his life. It’s a show many love, with four Tony Awards, four Drama Desk Awards, and a gripping story. Join Imagine Productions of Columbus on July 21, 22, and 23 at 2 PM for their creation at the Northland Performing Arts Center. Ticket info is right here. 

July 28 – July 30 – Ohio Theatre

Experience the Academy Award-winning Disney movie, “Frozen”, live from the stage in what critics call a “can’t miss” theatrical event. Several showings are happening this weekend at the historic Ohio Theatre; find the best times here. 

July 31 – Ohio State Fair

Do you want to see a Grammy Award-winning band live and in person? Join the Christian contemporary band Casting Crowns on July 31 at the Ohio State Fair.
